Each Samong Tech course follows the same basic structure: short recorded lessons, guided exercises using real data or code, and submitted assignments that receive personal mentor feedback. We avoid large blocks of passive video in favour of shorter lessons that connect directly to a task you can try straight away.
Every course has a stated duration — seven, eleven, or fourteen weeks — based on roughly four to six hours of study per week. These are not hard deadlines; they are honest estimates of what the material takes to absorb at a reasonable pace. Learners who need more time can discuss this with their mentor.

Intro to AI Thinking
A gentle introduction to how AI systems work and where they fit in everyday tools. The course uses light, friendly practice examples — nothing that requires prior technical knowledge. It is suited to curious beginners who want to understand AI without being overwhelmed by it.
Runs over seven weeks at a relaxed pace. Includes recorded lessons and supportive mentor feedback on submitted work.

Explain in plain language how common AI systems make decisions, identify where AI might be applied in a given context, and approach more technical material with a clearer mental model.
Practical Machine Learning
A grounded course in building and evaluating models with real data. The focus is on careful, honest methods — understanding what a model is actually doing, not just making it run. Suited to learners with basic Python familiarity.
Runs over eleven weeks with weekly check-ins. Includes guided projects and gentle code reviews from mentors.

Take a real dataset, prepare it, train a model, evaluate its performance honestly, and write clean, readable code that a colleague could follow.
Deep Learning Foundations
A hands-on course covering the core ideas of deep learning through small, well-explained projects. Suited to those who are ready to go deeper — either after completing Practical ML or with equivalent experience. Runs over fourteen weeks with clear milestones.
Includes a capstone project and thoughtful mentor guidance throughout. The most in-depth course in the Samong Tech sequence.
